I’m Vicki, I’m a writer based in Manchester, England, and I am currently Trafford Libraries Writer in Residence for 2025-2026 where I run writing workshops and craft creative responses around each of the borough’s 12 libraries on the theme of ‘what does your library mean to you?’

In 2026 the Nick Virgilio Haiku Association published some of my haikus, and in 2025 I was shortlisted by Anthology Magazine for the second time for my travel writing.

My work has also been published by Five Minutes, shortlisted by Globe Soup and Fusilli Flash Fiction Competition, and has also featured in the Whispered Paths: A Nature Writing Collection by Comma Press.
