Hi, I’m Vicki. I am currently Trafford Libraries Writer in Residence for 2025-2026 where I have been running workshops and crafting an upcoming anthology on the theme of ‘what does your library mean to you?’

I will be co-leading a walking tour and place-writing workshop around Manchester’s former ‘Little Ireland’ slum with Seth Connor-Fullwood as part of the Sun Inn Poets on 14th November 2026.

In 2026 the Nick Virgilio Haiku Association published some of my haiku poetry, and in 2025 and 2024 I was shortlisted by Anthology Magazine for the second time for my travel writing.

My work has also been published by Five Minutes, shortlisted by Globe Soup and Fusilli Flash Fiction Competition, and also Whispered Paths: A Nature Writing Collection as part of a Comma Press short story writing course.

Stay tuned for more.
